Velocity'11: Program 24th March. Gro Harlem
Thursday Papers will focus on education and changing habits of citizens.
Francesco Tonucci Lynn Sloman and taught the plenary session, entitled : Learning non-motorized city: education for life, which will discuss the importance of education in the smaller and habits to reach higher social change and urban mobility that we want for our cities.
In the afternoon plenary, Pilar Vega and Eva Willumsen star in the session "Public investment to live better: the efficiency of investments in bicycle," which discussed about the importance of economic investment in infrastructure for cycling, demonstrating that improve the quality of life of citizens and make more direct participation in the management of urban space.

On Velo-city 2011 .- Velo-city is the international event on the bicycle as urban transport more relevant today. Seville was chosen by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) to celebrate the Velo-city 2011, by the success achieved in the implementation in just three years of an urban network of 120 kilometers of bicycle paths and have gone from 6,000 to 60,000 users, with reference worldwide.
Under the slogan "Life cyclo", Velo-city 2011 is a global conference co-organized by ECF (European Cyclists' Federation) and the Delegation of Infrastructure for Sustainability of the City of Seville, which will bring together over 800 delegates from around the world on 23, 24 and 25 March, which will be announced the experiences on the bike as a means of transportation.
