closure commissions PRD
Today I had the opportunity to argue with a PRD deputy, Maricela (sic) Contreras, which rose a point by asking them to urge the Government of the District Federal to take the necessary measures that address the second wave of H1N1 influenza. There was nothing objectionable in that point of agreement, rather than an unnecessary and visceral criticism of the federal government, which accused him of blackmailing the city government about the proposed 2% tax.
I went up to the podium to ask the Deputy Contreras to withdraw this aggression to the federal government and the deputies of the PAN could support his point of agreement. I told him we were in a mood to add, build, wills reconcile, to find matches, not sterile confrontation. But my request was useless: the deputy did not agree and chose to spend their point of agreement with the support of his party alone rather than to obtain a much greater consensus.
Once again, it was clear the PRD stubbornness and their desire to divide, compare, and no interest in reaching agreements and building consensus through dialogue. So serve three years of the legislature?
